and Skill Through
Life's Toughest Moments
Divorce is more than a legal process. It can affect your emotions, parenting, finances, relationships, home, and ability to make confident decisions.
You may have an attorney handling the legal issues but still feel overwhelmed by everything happening between appointments. You may be considering divorce and need help organizing your thoughts. You may be struggling with communication, co-parenting, or adjusting to life after the legal process has ended.
Divorce Coaching provides a private, structured, and judgment-free space to slow things down, identify what matters most, and determine your next practical step.
Martin Kendall, DCA® Certified ADR Divorce Coach, works with individuals before, during, and after divorce. You do not need to be represented by Christina White Legal LLC to work with Martin. Coaching is available whether you have another attorney, are currently unrepresented, or do not have an active court case.
Divorce coaching may be helpful if:
You do not need to have everything figured out before contacting a Divorce Coach. Coaching is intended to help you identify what you can control, clarify what you want to accomplish, and take manageable steps forward.
Every client’s circumstances are different. Your coaching sessions will focus on the challenges, decisions, and goals that matter most to you.
Organize your thoughts, questions, concerns, and priorities before meetings with your attorney, mediator, or other divorce professionals. Better preparation may help you use professional appointments more purposefully and avoid spending valuable legal time processing issues that do not require legal advice.
Develop practical strategies for difficult conversations and written communications. Coaching can help you pause before reacting, consider the purpose of your message, and communicate in a way that is clearer, calmer, and more focussed.
Identify recurring conflict patterns, understand what may be escalating them, and consider different ways to respond. The goal is not to control the other person. It is to help you make deliberate choices about your own actions and communication.
Divorce can make every issue feel equally urgent. Coaching helps you separate immediate concerns from longer-term goals, identify what matters most, and prepare to make your own informed decisions.
Explore practical, child-focused approaches to communication, transitions, boundaries, and parenting across two homes. Coaching can help you remain focused on your children’s needs while managing a difficult or changing co-parenting relationship.
The end of the court case does not always bring an immediate sense of closure. Coaching can support you as you adjust to new routines, rebuild confidence, establish goals, and begin shaping the next stage of your life.
Martin Kendall is a DCA® Certified ADR Divorce Coach at Christina White Legal LLC. His approach combines specialized divorce-coaching training, daily experience within a family-law practice, a background in negotiation and process management, and personal experience with separation, co-parenting, and blended-family life.
Before entering the family-law field, Martin spent eight years working as a Quantity Surveyor in the United Kingdom. That career required careful preparation, conflict management, negotiation, and the ability to bring structure to complicated situations. These skills now inform his calm, practical, and solution-focused approach to Divorce Coaching.
Martin understands that clients do not always need someone to tell them what to do. Sometimes they need a thoughtful professional who will listen without judgment, help them understand what is keeping them stuck, and support them as they identify their own next step.
His role is to help you become more prepared, intentional, and confident—not to make decisions for you.
Your first step is a complimentary 20-minute telephone call with Martin.
This brief conversation gives you an opportunity to explain what has led you to seek support, learn more about Divorce Coaching, and determine whether Martin’s approach is a good fit for your needs.
The Discovery Call is not a coaching session or a legal consultation. You will not be asked to commit to further sessions.
Each individual coaching session lasts 55 minutes and focuses on the concern, decision, conversation, or goal that is most important to you at that time.
You may book one session when you need focused support or schedule additional sessions as your circumstances develop.
The four-session package is designed for clients who want structured, ongoing support through a particular stage of separation, divorce, co-parenting, or rebuilding.
The package includes four 55-minute individual coaching sessions and represents a saving compared with booking each session separately.
Divorce Coaching complements the work of attorneys, mediators, therapists, and financial professionals, but it does not replace them.
Martin is not acting as your attorney and does not provide legal advice or legal representation through coaching. Legal questions should be discussed with a licensed attorney. If you already have an attorney, coaching can help you become better organized and prepared to work with them.
Divorce Coaching is also not therapy or mental-health treatment. Coaching focuses primarily on your present circumstances, future goals, practical choices, communication, and actions. If your needs fall outside the appropriate scope of coaching, Martin may encourage you to seek support from another qualified professional.
Although coaching conversations are handled with care and privacy in accordance with the coaching agreement and applicable firm policies, they are not protected by attorney-client privilege solely because the coaching service is offered through Christina White Legal LLC.

No. You may begin with one individual 55-minute session. The four-session package is available for clients who prefer continuing, structured support.
There is no required number. Some clients want focused assistance with one immediate issue, while others benefit from ongoing support during a particular stage of divorce or co-parenting. You and Martin can discuss what best fits your needs and goals.
No. Coaching can be helpful when you are considering divorce, during separation or legal proceedings, while establishing a co-parenting relationship, or after the divorce has been completed.
